Marli and Chris reached out to us with one big goal: to own a home in Los Angeles.
Like many first-time buyers, Marli and Chris came in excited, hopeful, and understandably nervous about the process. Marli works in television production and Chris is a drummer in a band, and together they had been dreaming about putting down roots in LA with a place that actually felt like them.
Initially, their budget seemed like it might lean more condo than house, but after just a few weeks of searching, we were able to get them into a beautiful hillside single-family home in El Sereno.
What I loved most about working with them was their mindset throughout the process. They understood that buying a home in Los Angeles isn’t about finding perfection, it’s about finding potential, character, and a place you can grow into. They weren’t fazed by the normal issues that came up during inspections and stayed focused on the bigger picture the entire time.
Marli and Chris are officially homeowners! They now have a home full of warmth, views, and so much possibility ahead of them. Helping first-time buyers navigate this process with confidence will always be one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
