Even though in Los Angeles, many fall in love with the small town charm that makes you feel as though you are away from the loud hustle and bustle of a big city. The main streets of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Colorado are where you will find mom and pop style restaurants, unique coffee shops and fun-find boutiques.

Eagle Rock got it’s name in a quite literal way as there is a large protruding rock above the 134 freeway and when the sun hits it on certain parts of the day you will see what resembles an eagle in mid-flight.

The urban meets suburban mix is found in the variety of homes along tree lined streets from Craftsman, Spanish-style, modern townhomes and apartments. Even prominent architects have left their mark in Eagle Rock, Myron Hunt who played a big role in designing notable places such as the Rose Bowl and the Huntington Library also planned much of the local liberal arts college, Occidental College.

The quaint and hometown feel of Eagle Rock has made it a popular backdrop for filming popular TV series “This Is Us” and “The Office”.
